“Snow and Silence”
Let’s be honest the director Taylor Sheridan knows how make a savage but full of true feeling films. This time he did again! Coming from two big and powerful hits, Sicario (2015) and Hell or Hight Water (2016), where both films where claimed at the Oscar… Sheridan knows how to play right within chance to loose.
Wind River is an ambitious breath taking. A eighteen-year old girl is found frozen in Wyoming’s Wind River reservation by the wildlife agent Cory Lambert. Lambert ask for help to solve this scene which looks like a murder crime. Jane Banner an FBI agent is sent for help. But, the low temperatures make Banner’s work looks basic. Lambert and Banner team up to “track” the scene.
In a small cold town where everybody know everything and everything is far, old ghost are hunting feelings of the present.

Wind River has a super duo. The main characters are portrayed by Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen. Renner’s work is just brilliant. He delivers a cold but joyful interpretation. Also, Olsen plays a friendly work. See these two out of their characters of superheroes (Avengers) is a lemonade in summertime. They bring the chemistry they already have made on Avengers. Well play by Sheridan.

Sheridan knows how create horror scenes into an amazing landscape of possibilities. The recreation of the murder scene is a landscape where you could get lost. The twist. The twist Sheridan makes is something we should consider as a great work. Also, how the director portrays the actual situation of Native Americans.
